Chimica porlezza srl traces its origins in 1901 with the establishment of “Products for the silk industry” based in Milan, Via Lauro N°6, which began to produce and market special preparations to “facilitate the processing of raw silk”.

Who We Are
Subsequently, the company specialized in the production of sizing and sizing for new artificial fibers and moved the production activity and headquarters to Porlezza to be able to better operate in the Como area, where a strong textile production was and is rooted.
In 1957 he formulated the first oil for the antistatic lubrication of synthetic threads. This oil, called VL3, was included by the Rhodiatoce company in the processing specifications for textured Terital and represented the reference oil in the sector for many years.
Centuries of experience, cooperation with the most important textile machinery manufacturers, constant innovation and quality allow us to offer a top range of lubricants and auxiliary products for the entire textile sector.
Today, our new fully automated plant is capable of producing approximately 30 tons per day, with sales worldwide.

La Chimica Porlezza srl founded in 1901 as “Products for the silk industry” in Milan, Via Lauro n°6, began producing and selling special compounds for processing of raw silk.


1957
In 1957 Chimica Porlezza produced the first package oil for synthetic fibres, used on many textured polyester yarns, such as Terital, Crimplene, Trevira and on textured polyamide yarns, such as Lion , Helanca and Bri-Nylon. This oil, signed VL3, remained a focal point of the trade for many years.


2001
In 2001 we inaugurated a new, fully automated factory.

Today we are able to produce around 30 tons per day with sales all over the world.

La Chimica Porlezza srl fondata nel 1901 come “Prodotti per l’industria serica” a Milano, Via Lauro n°6, iniziò a produrre e vendere mescole speciali per la lavorazione della seta grezza.

1957
Nel 1957 Chimica Porlezza produce il primo olio in rocca per fibre sintetiche, utilizzato su molti filati testurizzati di poliestere, come Terital, Crimplene, Trevira e su filati testurizzati di poliammide, come Lion, Helanca e Bri-Nylon. Questo olio, siglato VL3, rimase per molti anni un punto focale del commercio.

2001
Nel 2001 abbiamo inaugurato un nuovo stabilimento, completamente automatizzato.

2014
Oggi siamo in grado di produrre circa 30 tonnellate al giorno con vendite in tutto il mondo.
